Axis control via Ethernet: no PC required
Ethernet-based axis control is now free from the PC. FiveCo offers a user-friendly and high-performance alternative for managing its motor control boards over the Ethernet network. Thanks to this new product, it is no longer necessary to use a computer (PC or PLC…) to manage motor control boards. This system delivers savings in cost, space, and installation time.
Having already brought to market a motor control board (FMod-IPDCMOT 48/1.5) using Ethernet as a fieldbus, FiveCo now offers a board capable of driving up to three axes. With the FMod-IPAXESCTRL board, the user has access to a trackball (X and Y axes), a mini-keypad (configuration, modes, 3rd axis, etc.) and an LCD display (information and position values). The system installer can independently choose to install these three elements in the configuration best suited to their application.
