One story that comes to mind when talking about FiveCo is the birth of the THEye Technology.
At the core of it, we often face a communication challenge: the majority of our projects are highly confidential, which prevents us from freely discussing our work and easily showcasing our expertise.
The idea was therefore to create a small technological demonstrator capable of illustrating our know-how in Bluetooth Low Energy communication, in as compact a format as possible. This ultimately resulted in a small circuit capable of transmitting a measurement via Bluetooth. We chose, somewhat at random, a temperature and humidity sensor to demonstrate our capabilities.
As we began sharing this Bluetooth temperature and humidity measurement prototype, we quickly realised there was genuine interest from many companies. That's how the development of a real product began: a solution with a very long battery life, a robust enclosure, environmental protection — in short, a complete product.
From there, this development gave rise to an entire ecosystem of different products, enabling a full chain from field measurement all the way to the cloud for data availability and exploitation. All of this ultimately started from a simple demonstrator designed to showcase our skills.

What I remember most about this project is how unifying it was for the team. Every member of FiveCo contributed: mechanics, electronics, low-level embedded programming in the module, cloud development, and even marketing. The entire team took part in this adventure.
